Jacob was married on May 7, 1913 in Rochester, but in all likelihood he visited alone the Netherlands, Jacob returned alone? to America on Saturday May 10, 1913, his wife Fokeltje is not find on the passenger list of H.A.L. Fokeltje may have been left here in the Netherlands, but that seems unlikely since she had given birth to their daughter Petronella on May 22, 1914 in Rochester, New York. Jacob traveled this time with the S.S. Rotterdam, arrival New York on Monday, May 19, 1913, Jacob traveled Third Class or "Steerage" but since he was registered as a "non immigrant" he was able to leave the ship in New Yersey harbor without too much trouble. His destination was Rochester, New York, United States. 1916. Jacob arrived in New York on Sunday 27 August 1916 as a widower, he still lived at 12 Nursery Street, Rochester, New York, United States, see here: https://goo.gl/maps/wdT7E1p2vSwTJEUm7 1929. They all traveled Third Class or "Steerage", arriving New York on Sunday, September 15, 1929. This may well have been the last European trip for Jacob (Jack).
